Dear Mikoshi Participants,

I hope everyone is enjoying Vancouver’s beautiful summer weather so far.

On behalf of Vancouver Omikoshi Group ‘Rakuichi’, We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation, support and generous donations.

As a result of your participation, the Steveston Salmon Festival on July 1st Canada Day was a huge success with the first time award. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude.

Further, we will also be carrying the mikoshi at the Powell Street Festival on August 4th and at the Nikkei Matsuri held at Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre on September 1st so we would love to see you there.

皆様、バンクーバーの夏をいかがお過ごしでしょうか。

私共、晩香坡神輿の会“楽一”の活動にご理解、ご協力、並びにご寄付を受け賜り、改めてお礼申し上げます。

皆様のご支援及びご協力のもとで、７月１日のカナダディーにスティーブストン・サーモンフェスティバルに参加し、盛大に威勢よくお神輿と山車を無事に繰り出すことが出来、初めてサーモンフェスティバル協会から賞を戴きました。

実行委員一同、心から感謝する次第です。

なお、８月４日の日本人のお祭りであるパウエル祭及び９月１日の日系文化センターで行われる日系祭りにもお神輿を担ぎますので、ぜひ、皆様のお越しをお待ちしています。
